Does anyone DIY alignments? If so, is it possible to purchase equipment for home? It would be nice to set the car up for track and back to street later.
If you take your car to the Dealer for an alignment all the Dealer will do (after making you wait all day) is tell you the car is correctly aligned to the GM specs. They won't tell you that the GM specs have a huge + or - allowance. Take it to a real alignment shop and have it set to the specs given in the FAQ, not + or - anything. Or better yet, tell the alignment tech what type of driving you do and he'll suggest correct caster, camber and toe.
