I'll probably go with the Kooks. Kooks has just as much credit than LG, cheaper price and hp gains are the same. You can get Kooks headers to $859.00. Don't know the price for LG headers. The LG system is about $1900.00.

Just installed the LG's last Thursday. Cost me $1700 for the system with the high-flow cats, though I didn't put the cats on. Haven't tuned yet either as I'm waiting for LPE to work on the car and tune it. So I can't give any numbers. But the car definitely feels stronger. Others have seen 25-30 at the wheels with a tune. I don't think you can go wrong with Kooks, LG, or Dynatech.

If have have ANY intent on doing anmy other mods down the road, like cam or heads or both, you NEED the Lg's to get the most out of those mods. If not, LG offers a "street" header that costs the same as the kooks with equal results.

Simply not true, ALL headers are fine with any mods.

For the best dyno numbers get the LG's
For the best ET's, get the Kooks.

This information is not correct. LG provides and entire kit and when you purchase the different parts needed to install Kooks you are only about 100 cheaper which is what made me go with LGs. You cannot go wrong with LGs or Kooks. and Kooks dont give better ETs on an ideal day they are equal but the length of the primaries are not. YOu have made a wise choice but you cannot go wrong with Kooks. Dont listen to price stuff on here people go with kooks because they think they are cheaper.

George,

The LG's are hard to beat anywhere, dyno or track. Great low end grunt and with merge collectors, they don't sacrifice high rpm power.

Also in the mix are of course Kook's and a new headers manufacturer, American Racing. We have dyno sheets/comparisons for each.

The LG's also produce more torque due to their longer primaries.

I love my Kooks, noticed an improvement down low and they scream up top.

If you get the LG prepare to call back once they get there to get the rest of the parts.

I have LG's with hi-flow cats, and x-pipe. Just got them ceramic coated. One word descibes the low end torque increase: awesome!
For the street or road course they get my vote any day.

Performance: LG's C6 qualifies in GT on the front row consistently. Hard to argue with that!

LG's attention to detail does lack sometimes. Thank God Borla makes the headers.

Ed told me to get them put on before the car ever gets to them. He said legally they can't install them but told me to get them put on ahead of time so they'll already be on before they tune the car.

I have two car's, both with LG Headers and I recommend them. It's race season and they are a little sloppy sometimes, but all around great headers.

I saw equal gains between both cars, put a cam on the coupe and fast intake for a total gain to 440hp/430tq to the rear-wheels.

Cheers

JK
