ET 112.86 @ 12.814 w/ 2.132 60'
RT = .368
this was at ATCO, temp around 55
i had a FULL tank of gas and rear tires are BALD
not sure if these things helped or not, but Im not too disappointed considering this was my 1st time ever racing a car
wow that was fun and i could see how it ould be ADDICTING.
unforutanately a c5z06 blew up there tonight... not sure the details.

CONGRATS on 12s your 1st time out!
Doing that in a MN6 is not an easy feat if you have never done it before.
The FULL tank of fuel hurt you by about 0.1 and 1mph, try to keep fuel in between 1/4 and 1/2. You probably had an extra 100#s in there.
Bald tires give you more contact patch, but less tread, so that is a wash.
Most Important:
Learn to get your 60' down to the 2.0 to 1.9 range, much harder with a manual tranny.
For every 0.1 you knock off your 60', your 1/4 et will driop by 0.2
So, if you cut a 2.03 60'. your time would have been a 12.61, and a 1.98 would have netted you a 12.51. Minus that extra 100#s of fuel and you will be running 12.41@113.86-114.x in no time.
Don't ever worry about your rt, the clocks don't start moving until the car does, you could sit there for 30 seconds, your rt will be a 30 seonds, but your time will still be a 12.51.
