Default Shifter allignment

I am wondering if anyone has run into this problem. Took my car to the dealer last week and they had pull everything out to check for the recall issue with the clutch and flywheel. After reinstalling everything my shifter is not sitting toward me like it used to in the nuetral position it is actually sitting like this...../....when I put it in 1st it is then straight up and down. When I used to put it in 1st it would come towards me like this...\...Does anyone know if there is adjustment to this as it is hitting the console going into reverse now. I know I should bring it back to the dealer, but he has taken it apart twice already because the mechanic cut the master cylinder line the 1st time he put it back together and I had to wait. I just don't want him(that mechanic in particular) taking it apart again. I only have 1000 mile on my new vette. If anyone knows how to adjust this from the top please let me know.

The stock shifter has a pin to lock the shifter in the neutral gate. If the tech failed to engage the pin when they re-connected the shift rod, the shifter would be out of alignment relative to the original factory setting.

It's a job you could fix yourself but you will have to remove the center console to access the lock pin and adjust the forward end of the shift rod, might also have to get under the car if the aft end of the shift rod needed adjusting (not positive about that one).
