Default intake removal

has anyone removed thier intake manifold for porting? do you need to replace the gasket set. reason is gm just tripled the price of the gasket set from 58.00 to 168.00 and thats through fred beans with the discount.

I will find out tomorrow. I am having the intake ported tomorrow by Jeremy Formato. He is coming to PA from FL to do tuning and porting on C6's.
