Dead Battery???
What are the effects of an extremely dead battery on my '06 LS2? Yesterday, the battery was so dead it took approximately 40 minutes to jump start the car. When it did start, I got a "Service TPMS" message, and my tire pressures all showed as xx. I also am getting the "No fobs detected" message. Does anyone know what's up with this?

You need to "retrain" the FOBs and the tire pressure sensors. See the owners manual for the FOB proceedure. I hate to tell you this, but you've gotta see the dealer for the TPMS issue.

Yeah, I put my fob in the glovebox and it finally started. Drove it to nearest dealership where as of this afternoon they were waiting on a replacement battery. I would have had the car a week today.

Sometimes with a totally dead battery, you get all sorts of codes and warnings upon recharge/restart. The problems may well set back to normal on their own with a little time and driving.
At least that was the way it was with the '05's.
