Should be a good set up. The extra cubes of the LS2 will soak up the duration and be a little more mild then in the LS1/6.

Believe me that size cam will turn your LS2 into a paint shaker even on 114LSA's. It's not the lift but the duration. 364 ci will only soak up so much duratioin to give you some idle quality. But If you're looking for that kind of loap, go for it. Fredo on the forum has a 402 with a 232/236 cam and even with a speed density tune it's not any where near a smooth idle. I'm also assuming you're going with heads, headers,
FAST 90 manifold, some type of intake, 160 stat, and good tunning.
Otherwise that cam is useless. BTW with that kind of lift check valve to piston clearence when using 15 degree valve angles. You may need to notch the pistons. Just my opinion.

I want that lopy sound but iv never actualy had a car with a lopy cam so i have no clue if it would bother me to be in it as my daily driver. I was planning on doing headers and maby heads or a 4in stroker to get the 402.
Im trying to figure out the cheapest way to make almost 200 more hp so that i can add a 100 shot of n20 and have a daily driver that makes almost 700hp when spraying

Default That's a little more info

If you're looking for a 700hp daily driver, then a 402 with 225 ET orAFR heads, a mid range cam 232/236114LSA's with a blower should do it. It will be streetable, give you good driveability and gas milage, and you don't have to fill a bottle. If you put boost or juice to these cast Pistons, it will make great power but it woun't be your daily driver for very long. The # 7 cylinder tends to go lean under boost or juice. By-By motor.
You're going to need forged pistons.

well I have a 238 242 600/610 on a 114 and I love it. Btw right now I am installing a dual stage nitrous system as well, I will let you know how it goes.

with that cam you are looking at you will need to at least change your valve springs if you dont change your heads.

here is my idle with my cam

That would be twin turbos from ATI, for $10K or less installed. And forget that 100 shot of NOS - that LS2 won't be running for long unless you redo the bottom end. My $.02 of course. Don't forget the extra costs that come with power like this: $5K wheel/tire packg to handle the torque, $2K for a suitable clutch / install, and probably a new rear end at some point.
