Yank Convertors

If you have tranny issues and they open it up and discover anything inside it that ain't factory you are liable to have a warranty issue.
Also, think about it. You have tranny problems with the new aftermarket converter in. Say your 3-4 clutch pak goes 6-12 months later, and in order to avoid a warranty issue, you drop the suspension cradle and the driveline, remove the transmission, and re install the stock converter , button everything back up, and then take it to the dealer?
If you can't do that yourself, then how much do you think the labor to do such a thing is going to run you?
After they, or you, do it, do you think that their techs will be able to tell if the car has been recently worked on? They'll be able to tell soon after getting it on the lift that someone recently dropped the driveline and put it back up.
If you are going to modify the driveline components of your car why worry about the factory warranty?
