For you guys running a SC with 7-8 boost have you had to upgrade your fuel pump and if you did what did you get. The only other engine mod is Headers and full exhaust. 05 Z51 MN6
My car has been in the shop for almost 6 months now and they will be getting close to starting it up and I have this awful feeling that I will get a call and will be told I need to upgrade my fuel delivery system cause the car is running too lean at the top end so I figured I would beat the Tech to the punch and have one in hand if needed to avoid a week of delays.
I just got my A6 - 06' back yeaterday with the ProCharger running 6psi boost. It has headers and a catback SLP system. It was able to lay down 517 RWHP, but it runs lean at the top of the rpm band which is not good. There is a simple fix. Order a Boost - A - Pump from Kenny Bell or from MSD. They are 250.00 or so plus 1 hour labor to install. This would fatten you up a bit and will keep you under 12.0 on the A/F. If you have more work than that done you will need to change your injectors to 60's. I am running 42's now.
ProCharger P1 @ 7psi using stock fuel pump, 42lbs with KB BAP and fuel pressure steady at 60psi thanks to Charlie's spot tune. Also, added the ECS Alky kit for safety measure...car goes back to A&A this week for more upgrades.
Side note: I routinely check the KB BAP setting to make certain it's dialed-in correctly, this mechanism should really have a locking device.
Good luck with yours and pls keep us posted with ur results.
Currently at 560rwhp/501rwtq...we'll get back to you with the new #'s once A&A gets done.
Which supercharger setup did you purchase?
I got the Procharger D-1sc and Hooks 1 7/8 coated headers with Exhaust Dumps and full 3in new exhaust.
Went on a bit further and got the Spec 2.5 clutch with Alum Flywheel.

I'm currently running a boost-a-pump with a vortech s/c. Torque curve is very flat.
