Predator tuning ?'s
Hello , I have had a couple threads going the last few days with questions I had about Headers I may be getting for my 2005 Z51. You guys have been great at answering my questions.
I have decided to go with SLP headers , high flow cats , and they will connect with my Borla exhaust.
I found a shop near me in St.Louis that uses the Predator to tune the car when I get the Headers installed. They do have a dyno and will do a full tune.
My question is , are there any limitations with the predator ? Can I get close to the same tune I would if I found a shop with the LS2 edit software ?
They claim that the predator can give me a proper tune , and if I start throwing codes due to the headers , they claim the Predator can turn off some of the rear o2 sensors or others that will cause a check engine light.
Does all this sound accurate to you guys ?
I called Diablo Sport , the maker of the Predator , to verify this info and they said it was true. But I trust you guys alot more.
I just want to make sure I have all the info I need before I do this mod.
