Default Halltech stinger

Has anyone noticed increased noise after installing the Halltech Stinger, with or without the CAI?
I'm about to pull the trigger on both.

I've got both and didn't notice any noise difference.

I too have both, and notice some increase in noise when WOT occurs. It is that nice sound of air rushing into the intake - just what I wanted.
The stinger itself installed in about 10 min. The Halltech video is excellent.
The ICAI was much different. The Halltech install instructions are at least the worst instructions ever written. If you do pull the trigger, there is a post somewhere here on the installation of the ICAI. After reviewing the post I completed the installation without any written instructions. Took about an hour.

I installed the Halltech Stinger yesterday. If you're in targa mode (coupe), when you rev it in neutral, you can hear a whooshing sound, but when driving around there is no difference at all.

I would not buy the CAI. If you really want it, go to Home Depot and get some garage screen, some pop rivets and washers and do it yourself. I was going to do it, but then Mike at A&A Corvette told me it's not needed. He has 560 HP and says there's plenty of air for induction as it is.

BTW, I went through the Halltech website in April and they knocked off $20 ($349 plus shipping, no tax in So Cal). Very cool looking, especially compared to the stock unit!

I noticed more noise with the Kooks long tubes and Corsa Sports than the Halltechs & CAI.

I searched and couldn't find the instructions. Got any ideas?
Thanks
