Callaway Double D's

I hope this helps

and, as you can hear on the Callaway site, sound excellent. Although
ANY and ALL after market exhausts will resonate about the 1500 RPM
mark, the double D's are the least offensive. On my MN6; barely perceptible.

...please tell me you didn't sign up on the Corvette Forum just to post that one opinion
re: resonance from the original poster,
They certainly will "bark" when you mash the pedal on your right
Resonance for me, was non-existant on the cars I have driven - and they passed the "Wife-Test."
You know, the test where if your wife cannot stand the (screaming loud) tone, all she will do is nag about the money spent on making the car unbearable
My wife, actually fell asleap during one C6 (Double-D) trip - that is not something she generally does in one of my vettes due to the noise

? Will the sound get old and wish stock was back on?
$1,000 is a big mistake to make
Please give me your thoughts and experiences with the Callaway's

leave your exhaust alone and do headers instead. you're not ready for a catback if you think the callaway's might be too loud
the header on stock exhaust is probably the sound you are looking for AND you get a nice little pop in performance too. good luck whichever way you go

but if you want something fairly quiet, then go for long tube headers mated to your stock exhaust. a corsa or callaway system is gonna run you about $1300 shipped to your door...for another $200-$300 you can get some long tube headers and get some sound increase with a very nice increase in performance. if i wasnt so completely romantically in love with my bullets, this is the way i might have gone...because none of the other exhausts provide enough sound for my ear, to be worth the sick money they are charging for these systems.
I agree about the LT headers...whatever your exhaust choice, or stock, LT's give meaningfully more power.
