Default My new TSW wheels....part 2, more problems

If your thinking of getting these wheels that I posted pics of earlier I just wanted you to know after getting the rear wheel shipped and mounted, on the car and seeing how far the stick out of the wheel well, actually very little, I ordered the other three wheels. I got the second rear and the two fronts. The rears are 19x9.5 and have a plus 45mm offset. They just stick out the rear well a hair but they really look good very aggresive and I decided to leave them this way, its really not too bad. So I got the fronts 18x9 with a +40mm offset and the offset is just like stock except the spokes of the wheels hit the brake calipers! Really sucks. I ended up going with a .020 inch slip on spacer and had to do some grinding work on the calipers to get them to clear. There on now, they look freakin sweet and were worth the work for me to have such a great looking wheel at a great price with a little elbow grease. Probably the only Vette running these at least for now. The spacer brought the wheel out a little closer to the front well lip and just look perfect. I know Iam going to hear a bunch of slack for the caliper work, again Iam going to say I have been a professional tech for over 18 years, I have done a huge amount of mod work like this on many street cars, race cars with big brakes,etc....I have a mill and other machinery in my home shop, I work alot with Titanium, Aluminum, powdered steels, etc... I would not recomend this kind of work to a weekend bolt on guy. With that said lets keep the expert armchair mechanic comments to yoursleves Yes, you can clearance calipers to fit wheels.Anyway here's some pics.

They look awsome. I love how open they are and the lips make me want to order a deep dish pizza.

Can I ask, why did you only go with a 9 1/2 on the rears?
