Did your mechanic grease the caliper slides? Do all wheels turn freely when off the ground? Maybe some powder coat got in one of the caliper bolt shafts and is causing one of the brakes to drag and not release fully?

be sure the installling mechanic used a torque wrench and torqued the lug nuts at 100 ft lbs on the first installation. if he did not, and used an impact air gun, even with a torque limiter bar, they will be warped for good. i have seen this happen on other cars more than once. our shop hand torqued every wheel and never had this problem.

Not really. I ended up putting a set of Z06 brakes on the car and the vibration still came and went occasionally. I no longer have the car and the two C6's I've had since then occasionally exhibit the exact same thing at the same speeds. It's a VERY subtle vibration that you really have to be looking for, although it was more noticible on my '06. I really think it was flat spotting tires, nothing more.
