I may not be as well known here in the C6 section, but many of you have benefited from my DIY alignment, and online Torque spec sheets, so bear with me.
Well, first and foremost, let me say, that I'm still broke, and have no aspirations of being very competitive. I've run the new car a total of 2 test days and 2 NASA races, and it is FAR from being dialed in.
HOWEVER, I'm entering the Mid Ohio World Challenge race in two weeks, and I wanted my friends and fans here to know. I've had a contribution from Big Pine Key and my buddy Henry Gilbert (http://www.sportscardrivingexperience.com/), both of which are greatly appreciated. The rest is just money from my kid's College funds
Anyway, if all goes well, my truck makes it up through the mountains, and the scruitineers don't kick me out, I'll be doing my best to keep up with Lou and the gang.
Thanks for the continued support, and keep begging everybody you know to send a check.
BTW, send a big THANK YOU to FALCON at Big Pine Key, and of course, Henry at his driving school!

wow - holy friggin' wow. That's great news! I'll be looking for you on the track. Maybe LG's team will help you along while you are at the track - it's tough when you are working on the car and trying to drive it!!

I've made tons of "improvements" to the car, but not necessarily things that will make it go faster. Car had a lot of loose ends when I've run it in the past, and I've patched those up. I've dialed in the alignment a good bit, and made some aero adjustments, but I haven't tested the car in months. The the official test day at $350, plus a set of tires ($1400), plus fuel (god only knows), I won't be doing it. Two short practice sessions, qualifying, and then the race.
