Default ETP Heads?

ET Performance Heads seem to have no idea how to produce inventory or to get their stock out of their facility. For the past month every time I or my Tuner calls ETP we get the same answer: Two weeks. Granted that everytime we do call, ETP gives us an update saying this or that along the assembly.

Stated from employees at ETP, the dates should not double or triple. The given date should be the result. If the workers do not know when their products will be completed, they should not say a number that comes to their heads. They should honestly say "I have no idea". Oh, but thats the problem isn't it? If they gave an accurate answer such as that, business would plummet. How many people would order from a company who doesn't have a schedule!? Know the time of production?! Or what their doing?! Do they care? Should I care to buy their product?

If I lived in Michigan I would be at their door today wanting to see how things are run. I see it hard to imagine hundreds of cast heads waiting uselessly for assembly at the back of their facility.

Now I do know how demand can effect supply, I waited Six Months to complete a race bike. Atleast those companies all had an accurate assessment for delivery. It's not hard. Either ETP is understaffed, unscheduled or unequipped, dates should not exponentially rise.

I'm writing this frustrated so thats why some of it may seem blasphemous or bombastic but still, there is a point. WHAT'S THE HOLD-UP?

ETP is not alone.

I ordered a set of AFR 225's in JANUARY. Luckily I found some one another vendors shelf, but my vendor left the order in and they STILL HAVEN'T SHIPPED.

This seems to be a (sorry) pattern amongst performance vendors. Why advertise a product you can't ship? Magnuson danced us around for 8 weeks before they actually shipped product.

As paying cu$tomers that buy thier product, manufacturers should be treating thier customers/vendors like GOLD, instead of doo-doo.

Bet if your last name were say, ERNHARDT - you'd get your stuff hand delivered...

I wanted to use the ETP 215 heads but couldn't find them. Got the AFR 225s immediately from Andy at A&A Corvette in CA.

I agree. It is pathetic!
If I dont receive a ship date by the end of this month, I dont know what I'm going to do.? This seems to be a problem everywhere.
