Various mod pkg levels
First a small intro (Skip if you could care less). I dont know if anyone remembers me from the C5 Board. I noticed its been so long since I posted all my old posts are gone. I used to have a C5 FRC with just a few mild bolt-ons (CAI, Z06 Exhaust, etc). Putting a younger sister through college has definately put a dent in the C6 budget. She graduates this December so it looks like I should have the money to order a 2008 in Summer of 2007. At which time I KNOW I will immediately contract mod disease. Anyway down to business.
Assuming a good tune are these figures about right for expected Crankshaft BHP of various pkg?
Stock - 400 bhp (No Tune)
Stage 1 (CAI, 160 Degree Therm, Ported TB, Cat-Back) - 425 bhp
Stage 2 (Headers, X/H-Pipe with Hi-Flow Cats) - 450 bhp
Stage 3 (Camshaft, Springs, Pushrods, Ported Intake) - 500 bhp
Stage 4 (Heads, Fast Intake) - 550 bhp
Stage 5 (402 ci SB, Matching Cam) - 600 bhp
At this time I think Stage 3 would be where I would stop. However, I know how addictive this stuff can be.
