The P Zero Corsa System combines two of Pirelli's DOT-legal Competition tire designs that have been developed for the drivers of high-powered, super sports cars primarily for use at drivers' schools and lapping days conducted on race tracks. Also Original Equipment for the road versions of Ferrari 360 Challenge and Porsche GT3 cars, the P Zero Corsa System was designed to maximize a car's performance and satisfy even the most demanding driver in terms of dry handling and braking without abandoning wet performance and noise comfort. The P Zero Corsa System incorporates Pirelli's racing experience to enhance driving satisfaction at the limits.
I ran some 315 series Pzero corsa competition tires on a C5. I never road raced them. For drag racing they are a little better than the runflats but not even close to a drag radial. Handled well on the street and fair in rain. I would not buy them again.
I have them on my Ferrari. They do not have as much grip as Nitto RII's, but they grip better than any street tire I have used. They also have more water channeling than RII's as well. To give an idea on the grip difference, the Ferrari will break Pirelli Pzero Rossas free at full throttle in first gear even with all the electronics. The P-Zero Corsas stay planted in most every case.
Hi sorry didnt see this thread .. im making 400whp C6 A6 without any wheel spin in 1st gear! those tires are great my car had alot of wheel spin with the stock tires with almost 2000miles on them ! first gear was unless! now i can launch from a stop with no traction problems!

I never liked Pirelli's, why not try the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup if you want a great tire for drivers ed, that can also be driven on the street in the dry. Or, the Michelin PS2 which is a great dry and wet tire. I have PS2's on my Boxster and they are great on the track (wet and dry) and are fine for all kinds of street and road driving, except in cold weather. The Michelin Sport Cups are a step above and everyone I know who has them just raves about the track performance. TireRack has a nice comparison review of the Michelin Pilot Sport tires, including the Pilot Sport A/S, the Pilot Sport PS2 and the Pilot Sport Cup. But, these tires are not inexpensive.
If these are the competition tires you will probably only get 8K miles or so out of them. Thought I would mention that in case it is a factor. These are not the type of tires you would use daily driving, they are soft and sticky. In other words they will also throw any debris on the road up on the car, another thing to look at.
Only reason I ever bought them is they were on sale for half price for the sizes I wanted, so I thought I would give them a try. I ended up regretting the purchase because I do not road race.
On a road race track they will probably be very good though.

8,000 miles would be great, I hear 3-5k is more like it...
I plan on trying these if no other 19" options come about soon
