Z51 Grease Fitting Issue
Any one else use Mobil 1 synthetic grease n the Z51 tie rod ends and have it leak out? Mine is leaking out as an oil from the fitting. I did not over fill but Mobil1 claims it's getting so hot that it's braking down. They said it conforms to the requirements of NLGI #2,

Not on my car...but I have had Mobile 1 Grease in my grease gun leak out a "red Oil" just hanging in the garage.
I don't know why but this happens on a regular basis.....
and while I live in NM .....my garage doesn't get "that" hot.

I've had it leak from the grease gun like Pat, when I was stationed in Phoenix, but I've never had it leak from the fitting. Hmmmm, let me see, synthetic grease that meets the call outs and Mobil says the application was getting too hot?
