Default Dyno Results / Headers / Predator

Hello all , I just had my SLP Headers installed today. That now gives me , LPE cold air intake , SLP long tube Headers , High Flow Cats , Borla exhaust , and 160 degree stat.

I also bought the Diablo Sport Predator , but there was some sort of problem and the rep couldnt get it to recognize my car. The frustrating part is they are now closed until tuesday.

With all that said, the car dynoed at 370.8 hp , and 364.0 tq.

Should I get a little better results after the tune gets installed ( hopefully tuesday ) ?

And has anyone had problems like that with the predator ?

Thanks.

Not bad!
I did 371RWH with Borla Stinger, Halltech Cold Air Intake, the Predator custom tuning and the 160 thermostat.
Next mod will be to eliminate the cats and go with straight pipes.

Regards,
Manuel

What type of Dyno? If it was a Mustang Dyno then the #'s are not bad. If it is a Dynojet I would personally hope for more. And yes after you tune everything will began to work together and you should notice a increase in hp.

It was a Mustang Dyno , I guess. Dont know the difference , but the headers where installed at Mustang Muscle in St.Louis.

I know , I know , a Mustang shop working on my car. But I didnt have much choice. I couldnt find anyone around here to do an LS2 edit , and they are the only Diablo dealer close to me. They do also work on GM's , the guy who did mine actually drives a pretty fast 1999 Firebird.

Should I assume it was a " Mustang " dyno ?

And what is the difference ?

Thanks.

Mustang Dynamometer and Dynojet are two different brands of dyno's like Ford and Chevy. The Mustang is a load bearing machine that actually takes in to account the weight of the car and applies resistance to the drum. Without starting a war here the experts say the Dynojet gives higher hp & torque #'s I here it is about 10+ percent difference on average.
