From what I've read the LG's are one of the easiest headers to install, so I would think any competent mechanic could do it. Finding an honest & competent mechanic isn't always as easy, maybe check in with your closest Vette club for a few recommendations.

A good mechanic should do it in 2.5 hours, I just did them in 6 hours (and I am really slow!). The hardest part was running the rear O2 extensions.
