replacing emergency brake handle

Thanks, I assume it's the one under the boot on the driver's side of the brake lever. The service manual only shows replacing the entire lever and involves removing the passenger seat and rear wheels.

All you do is carefully pull the boot away enough to expose the screw. Remove the screw. Give the handle a rather forceful pull and the cap on the end will come off along with the handle. It's that simple.
