I just ordered a set of blackout taillights for my Mag Red C6 from a supporting vendor. I'm hoping the install will be straight forward with little difficulty. Does anyone have first hand experience in installing these taillights? Any pics showing a Mag Red C6? Any help on this thread would be appreciated. Thanks!
Cool....I never looked at the interior backside of the C6 before ordering. Sounds like its going to be an easy install. Thanks for the info.
It is Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper easy! Takes all of 10 minutes total, including re-install. Very easy, one screw. The side markers are a little more complex, but still pretty simple. Both sets of markers took about 15 minutes to take out and another 5 to reinstall.
Good luck! They will looks sweet on your mag red hot rod!
I ordered mine from Mid America Motorworks. Thanks for sharing the pic. I think I'm going to be very happy with the Mag Red C6 appearance after the install. Again, thanks to all who replied.
That looks SUPER SWEET! The only thing that would make it look more stealth is if the third break light also had the same jet blackness to it. Is this setup a light cover, or is it a brand new light that you install and remove the old taillights?
