MN6 cruise control bug?
I was coming home last night with the cruise on at 75 in 6th gear and I pulled the car into neutral without depressing the clutch. The car dissengaged gears but the cruise stayed activated and the RPM's shot through the roof like I had floored it in neutral. I caught it before it hit the fuel cut off but just barely. I was so surprised I tried to recreate it and every time I did that same thing happened.
I'm not saying this is a factory flaw since I'm sure I'm not supposed to pull it out of gear without the clutch but just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

It's not a flaw, but as designed. The cruise control has disengage signals from the control switch, the brake, and the clutch. There is nothing on the tranny or shifter to tell it you are out of gear.
On mine, if I want to disengage the cruise without a flash of brake lights (to say, avoid letting cops know I'm slowing down,) I just tap the clutch pedal. Not enough to even move the pressure plate. Just enough to hit the clutch switch and kill the cruise.
