Default CAI Install ?

I'm not mechanically inclined; therefore, I would like to know which CAI is the easiest to install(definitely no cutting involved)

The opinions you get will be varied. I was going to get the Vararam, but changed my mind due to quality issues and availability. Ended up with the Lingenfelter and I am VERY happy. You can get pre cut radiator shrouds for either and they will net you some small gains. However, the non-bottom breather intakes are a little easier to install, but don't net much in gains at all.

The Lingenfelter wasn't bad at all, from an installation standpoint. But, it does require some patience.

Good luck!

If you are not mechanically inclined and don't want to pay someone to install it, then leave it stock.

The Halltech Stinger is probably the easiest of all of them out there to put on. But you might want to do a little research on the performance increase it actually gives.

You are going to have to go with cold air if you want much of a power increase. That means a little more to a lot more, difficult install and/or cutting the radiator shroud.

DSOM is probably right about leaving it stock. But, if you really want to try a project and get your hands dirty, get yourself a good quality CAI like the Lingenfelter, Callaway, or Vararam (maybe) read the instructions thoroughly and don't hesitate to ask forum members for help if you get stuck.

This is a project that is tougher to mess up with a pre-cut shroud and it's a great one to make your first. Otherwise, you can probably have it installed for $50-75.

Keep in mind, if you do one that requires shroud removal, you will need to be on jack stands at a bare minimum.
