I follow (or try to) Corvette Racing in both the ALMS and Rolex series. While C6-R's are the bomb in ALMS GT1 , Rolex GT and ALMS GT2 Corvettes do not do well at all. Mostly all Porsche and Pontiac in Rolex and Porsche and Panos in ALMS. I haven't even seen a C5 or 6 in ALMS GT2.
Outside of the obvious - politics - do any of the great minds on this board have any insights on what reason or reasons might exist that keep Corvettes from being competitive in ALMS GT2 and Rolex GT. At the moment there are three C6's running in the 6 hours at the Glen and they are sucking wind!
That's one reason, but it can't be the only reason. Tons of Porsches, lots of folks with money, if it were only money, at least some would be lavishing it on Vettes to win....go figure.
