Polishing TB
I am getting the stock throttle body cleaned up a little. THere going to smooth out the front and polish it. They told me that they werent going to polish the part that goes to the engine because it makes the air swirl or something like that. Are they full of ****? should they polish the backside as well?

Sounds like a half-@ssed job to me! There is plenty of "swirl" going down the intake runners.
I'd tell them to do it all!

50. ill tell him to do it all. Ill prob have him half shaft it as well. He wasnt trying to get out of it he was saying he was going to do something extra to make the air swirl. something about sand blasting it or something like that after he ground it down. Im not sure exactly iv alwase heard just smooth it out and make it as big as you can(match it to the intake) etc.

I had mine completed ported out to remove the lip inside of the TB.
The guys at New Era Performance neweraperformance.com in Rochester NY.
did it for only $75.00. I noticed a definate difference especially with throttle response.
It was amazing on how much material they removed and how smooth the TB turned out.
You guys should check them out...
