Default Undercoating and Drone

Remember back in the day when dealerships tried to sell you undercoating to prevent rust? I was thinking that undercoating also acts as a sound deadener and heat resistor, so I was wondering if anyone tried to apply undercoating to their vette to reduce the drone. When you install the exhaust, you can see this metal (aluminum) plate that goes between the exhaust and the plastic floor of the car. I wonder how covering the aluminum plate and the plastic floor would affect the drone.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Rich

I did the Dynapad under my cargo mat. I didn't install it as the post above but I would say it made some noticable improvement on the drone, however, it didn't fully eliminate it.

Get a piece of Dynapad about the size of a doormat, cut two holes in it, wrap it around your head. One application works for more than one car.
