Brake booster noise?

Brake booster noise?
Just noticed this last night for the first time inside the car. ('06 C6 MN6 Z51)
When applyig the brakes and for a short time after, you can hear "air rushing". Not sure how best to describe it but it sounds like the booster to me. Is this normal? Haven't noticed it before in the first 2500 miles and not of any previous Vettes. Dealer did replace the pads under warranty but that was 1500 miles ago and shouldn't affect this anyhow?
