After a quick search, not many people seem to like their pads, but has anyone used their rotors?
Also, does anyone know if they are made to the same exacting standards as the OEM ones? In case you missed the sarcasm, I don't want OEM one side only disks.
It may be a typo, but the ad says they're 10.1" The Z51 rotors are 13.4".
"Front Brake Disc Set, Set Includes 2 Rotors (One Left And One Right), Drilled And Slotted Sport Rotors, Black, 10.1 Inch Diameter, Dimpled Hole Construction, Wider Slots Expel Gases And Stay Cooler, Black Zinc Coated To Prevent Corrosion"
I assume your going to track your car if you're worried about the directional vanes?

I'm pretty sure the 10.1 is a typo, the EBC catalogue lists the correct diameter.
Yes, I am tracking the car... I'm on the second set of OEM rotors and I think the passenger side one is slightly warped after 2 days. I'm trying to find a full floating setup for the fronts... no luck yet. I'm hoping the EBCs will tide me over until next year when more stuff will be out.
Have you considered switching to non-drilled rotors. I have a Z51 on the track and the holes just invite cracking. You can switch to standard brackets (abutments) for a total of about $140 and use NAPA rotors (which cost about $25 each.)
Looks like a good design. But only recommending Hawk pads for their 2 piece rotors worries me. I switched from Hawk Blues to Carbotechs for a reason, and not sure I want to go back just so I can run a certain set of rotors. Also, just a quick look shows that Hawk is upgrading there whole line and at least one of them is ceramic. Are the new compounds going to work with those rotors or have the same problem as the Carbotechs?
Of course the whole incompatibility issue could be couple of people making alot of noise and not really be a problem.

I inquired about switching to stoptech aerorotors about a month, maybe longer ago and they told me to hang on because they were very close to a Z51 specific rotor.
they are not cheap, but I feel they will last much much longer than anything else.

Wow. The thread at the WRX site about their 2-piece rotors only working with Hawk pads is pretty amazing. I hadn't seen any of that... I've yet to purchase the rotors from them as they're not released yet, but that was the plan. Running Hawks doesn't sound too bad to me, though, as that's what I've run on all my cars unless I was experimenting.
Although, that said, I've felt strong pressure to try the PFC01s for track days on the C6...
