I am planning to add a Corsa Sport exhaust to my 2006 MN6.
But I am not sure of the need for or the benefits of the Corsa cross-over (XO) pipe. I have heard that it does not change the sound or "loudness" plus the whole system is not supposed to change the HP, so I am wonder why the XO-pipe?
Effectively your putting the exhaust pulse thru 2 mufflers instead of one thereby lowering the backpressure relative to the pulse. I suspect that the most effective part of any of these systems is the x-pipe. BTW the Borla x-pipe looks better (x is closer to the manifolds) then the Corsa IMO. For myself I'm just going with the x-pipe and stock mufflers.
