How much to install header system?
I live in Houston, TX. Motorsport Technologies has quoted me $500 to install the 1-7/8" Kooks LT headers with X-pipe and hi-flow cats. I know that MTI does good work, but this seems pretty high for installation. Any other shops or suggestions?

$400 is the average in S.CA from A&A or LAPD.
If you want to save money, it is real easy to install headers on the C6. You can pick-up a set of car ramps, jack stands, and a floor jack for about $125 and spend 3-4hrs in the garage installing them.

Is that including a tune?
I was quoted 350.00 at a tune shop I have been using for a couple of years. I ended up installing them myself. The hardest part of the job is getting you car up off of the ground. It took me about 4 hours including a lunch break. I recommend getting your car at least 20" off of the ground...that gave me plenty of room to work on a creeper.
