Or just tool down a typical urban street which has every other square yard dug up nearly monthly by utility workers. That's the sort of road that's typical of much of the rest of America.
You need to revisit CA. We have the same problems (well, maybe not the frost heaving in SoCal), but plenty of tree root bulges and trucks pounding pot holes here with all the development going on. Besides, why would you do any performance driving on an urban street? I've had both Z51s on plenty of rough, utility worker cut up roads (Chicago and vicinity included), and it was just fine for me. Like I said, different opinions.

Can someone please clarify which parts the c6z51 and c6z06 share in terms of shocks, sways and springs? I thought there were several parts they had in common.

I believe the only common part is the front swaybar.

The front sway bar and rear spring are the same on the C6 Z51 and Z06. One of the forum vendors said the suspension bushings are different. I don't know if that is true or not.
