Aftermarket exhaust

Do any of the aftermarket exhaust mess with the cpu in the car. I mean are any of these things throwing on check engine lights or anything with the increase flow?

If you're talking cat backs, there is no "increase in flow" so, no they won't throw a code. I don't think anyone has any documented proof that changing the mufflers adds HP or torque. Headers on the other hand will and can cause code problems if not done correctly.

I put a B&B Route 66 on (catback), and no dummy lights have ever come on. I wouldn't look for the exhaust to give you more horses, but at least you'll hear the horses you have!
