Guys, I put a set of Kooks headers, x-pipe and Corsa back half on my car and on start ups and rev's (at stand still) I hear a high pitch squeak??? Any suggestions??
I have a high pitch intermittent squeak too. Can't seem to isolate it. I changed the alternator thinking it was the bearing but still have the problem I lubricated the idle and tention pullies and was told the surpentine belt is new. Go figure. Anyone else have this problem?

You can't tighten the tensioners- they are automatic. Also, lubing the tensioner bearings is useless- they are sealed.
Check ypu harmonic balancer for wobble.
My research on the Forum validates your recommendation to check the harmonic balancer for wobble. I checked it and it wobbles a little. Nothing out of the ordinary but can cause the squeal. In the "old days" we used a bar of soap on the belt to quiet things down. A new harmonic balancer is a costly replacement and "do it yourself' requires about 4 hours of intensive labor. Oh well. The saga continues.
Thanks for the comeback.
Regards,
Mark
