Cold Air Intake - Which one???
I'm looking at getting a cold air intake for 2005 automatic coupe with 1800 miles. I installed the B&B Route 66 catback only exhaust. Is it worth it for me to do this???...If so I'm not sure which one to go with. Any suggestions, would be great. Thanks! John

I've read many dyno related threads that show no improvement over stock.

An air cleaner is pretty much an air cleaner. Stock's fine, so are most of the aftermarket ones, though some require you to butcher the car to install them.

Check with MTI a Corvette Forum sponsor. Their dyno test proved that the Callaway Honker gave the best results for the least $'s.

Has anyone made a chart or anything that has the CAI name, price, expected hp/tq gains/losses? If not someone should create one that way we could make it a sticky feature...

I've got the Halltech Stinger and I will be selling it in mid-July. Seems as if the Procharger supercharger has its own intake

Vararam might give you the best HP gains but their build-quality is abysmal.

I have the same intake as Steve. It looks cool and you can hear it work too if you have your targa top off. I also have the B&B Rt 66.
