methanol injection kit c6 corvette
My question to any one out there, have recently ordered and received brand new c6 corvette. Car was given proper 500 mile break in then driven to 960 miles then sent off to have procharger D1sc installed -heads & cam package-methanol-injection & so on. Has anyone else out there done this methanol injection kit and if so where can i purchase methanol!!!!!! I live in Albuquerque nm. Work was done at world famous MTI based in Houston TX----I must say most professional shop i ever visited & most knowledgeable- All the way from David Coates to Jason Cohen. Dyno #'s were extremely positive--------rwhp-639.2----rwtq-530.8!!!!!! So if any one could please help with locating methanol in Albuquerque NM. Would be greatly Appreciated!!!!!!!! The best for real Methanol and not denatured alcohol (which does work fine btw) is your local hobby shop that sells Radio controlled Planes, Cars, Helos...Otherwise Denatured alcohol can be foud at Home Depot, Lowes, Wallmart... The best kit IMO is the East Coast Supercharging (ECS) meth injection kit.

Distilled water and Isopropyl alcohol. Thats what I used in the only water injection I have used. Windshield washer fluid is a poor choice, there are no standards on the quality of the water or the percentage of alcohol. Most of the spray nozzles in an injection system have very small openings and junk fluid can clog them. Be sure there is a filter between the tank and spray nozzle
