Anyway........NO! At least AFAIK there is no way to keep from getting alerts on the DIC if you are running without tire pressure sensors. Some people have said that if when you first start up the car you clear the first alert with the reset button that it won't bother you again. If you start up and get the alert and check tire pressures before clearing the alert, then you will continue to get alerts and can't turn off AH or go into Comp mode.
After stupid Phord Explorer drivers a few years ago were driving around with low tire pressures and flipping their vehicles over, "Big Brother" (Congress) legislated this thing on us. By 2008 all new vehicles will have to have a Tire Pressure Monitor System. They have to be designed so drivers CAN'T disable them.
With runflats, you pretty much need to run sensors. If you have a slow leak while driving you may not notice it like you would on a regular tire. The stiff sidewalls won't give you the handling feedback you'd get with a non-runflat. If you lose pressure in the runflat and don't slow down, or especially if you try cornering aggressively, you can have serious handling problems with a loss of pressure that would be readily noticed with a non-runflat.
