DIC Confirmation for ABS, TC, AH
Tonight after a good rain, I confirmed my computer driven protection systems work. I spun the tires until the Traction Control Active message appeared in the DIC. I stood on the brakes until the ABS Active message appeared. And I spun the tires in a 90 degree left turn until Active Handling message appeared in the DIC.
With only 1700 miles and not much tire spinning so far, I was not sure these system were working. The intervention makes me feel much more safe regarding not losing control. Keeping the car straight and wheels rolling is incredible.
What a studly machine we have. I am not an experienced race driver but a 911 S challenged me last Saturday night and I kicked his butt. I did not start it but I did Corvette proud and ended it. I am 48 and felt like a kid again. This car is the best prescription free anti-depressant available. My friend in our Corvette Club has a Z06 and it is the next level to my C6 Coupe, Z51 6 speed in Victory Red. I don't know what I would do with a Z06 because I feel my car is just incredible. But I would not mind finding out what to do with a Z06.
