require a hole cut in the shroud?
After having to replace the engine in our C5, due to a bottom feeder I am not going to go that route.

Whose would you recommend?
Pic's would be appreciated.

Stock. All the others are going to be bottom breathers.

I went with the K&N Aircharger, and I'm very happy with it. There is enough outside cold air in front of the shroud channeled up from the underside of the car (with the air dam) that it gets non-engine bay cool air--virtually ambient temperature. The swept area is huge, the bridge much freer flowing--as good or better than any other--including bottom breaters, and you can't beat K&N's quality. With the almost straight pipe B&B Bullets I'm putting on, the hp has to increase, as well as a much MUCH better sound than stock. Engines are air pumps. Increase what goes in and what comes out and you get power. $318 shipped.
