X-PIPE...or not?
How much of difference will I see if I put on bullets without the x-pipe compared with putting on both....? Hopefully not too much...I wouldn't be getting a deal on the x-pipe right now....and wanted to wait until something came up.

You only get a very slight pick up in HP....maybe 5 HP, but the X-Pipe does smooth out the exhaust note, especially on deceleration. Also, if you pull the stock pipes, it's the perfect time to put in an upgraded chassis plate from someone like Elite. That's what I did & I don't regret it. Try calling whichever dealer you're planning to buy the mufflers from & ask for the Sales Manager. You might be able to talk him into dropping the price on the X-Pipe as part of a package deal. I recommend both highly. I t would be a waste to do the x-pipe and not the tunnel plate while it's off. Some forum members are selling x-pipes in parts for sale section. Just search that section.

So if I plan on doing only the catback right now and the x-pipe later...I should obviously wait till I can get the "abs of steel" as well huh?
Do you guys think the catback will sound ok though without the x-pipe? How much attention am I going to be getting with the bullets without the headers also...still loud as hell?
