Carrier bracket is different to accomodate the larger rotors and the pads are different too. These are similar to what was used on the C5 Z06. They dust like hell but are very effective especially for track use.
I did it after running at Laguna Seca, CA (a brake heavy track)...Fichtner Chevy (one of the forum vendors) initially sent me a set of front rotors and front caliper brackets and we tested with just the bigger fronts and the car was vastly improved...we later ordered the rear set to complete the setup...

It has been posted her many times that the Z51 rear caliper pistons are a different size than the base rear caliper pistons. I believe member Corvette Pilot has firsthand knowledge of the differences in the rear caliper piston. But, Yes you can put on the Z51 rotors/caliper brackets using the base calipers without issue.
