Depends on what all the parts included are. Was that a cam package including springs, retainers, seats? Which brand headers and did they include Hi Flow cats and locking header bolts in the deal? Which catback system, corsa, b&b, magnaflow? Also, did that include tax, like an out the door price? Just need more info to be accurate.

Example:
-Cam, good dual springs, Ti retainers, seats, etc., which is $800 online at TR
-Magnaflow rear muffler sections online numerous places at $1000
-Headers, Dynatech with Hi Flow cats are $1695
-Tuning is normally about $495

Thats $4,000 right there and I can easily see $1000-$1200 in labor, totalling around $5000-$5200 + tax.

Ha! I've been quoted 1000 just for a cam install! Its closer to 2000 if you have a shop that isnt willing to cut you any slack.

Like I said I would do all the installation of parts except the cam ...it will save you a little bit of cash.

that was a ballpark figure for out the door. i believe thats all the parts needed and labor.

Just had my car dyno'd last week and was talking about a cam and rockers(1.8), HD springs and titanium push rods=$1500. Then the catback sys: $1100; then the headers+hi flo cats + x-pipe=$1500; the the tune=$500: total w/o sales tax and labor=$4600.00. No it doesn't seem like a bad price really as long as you're using middle of the road quality and not the lowest quality and a cam failly mild.
