If you are talking about the interior molding that goes up the side of the windshield, they just pull off. According to my 2006 service manual they have clips under them that snap into the metal windshield frame.
Not sure on our C6 pillar mouldings but my S-Type had a fabric 'teather' that was removed after you "popped" them loose. I guess the idea was to keep them from flying around in the cabin in case of a crash. Just something to look out for.
What is the best way to remove the a-pillar covers/molding? Do I just give it a yank? I don't want to damage them. Any tips would be appreciated.
Matt
Page 8-385: Trim replacement - hinge pillar
1. Remove fastner attaching top of the upper trim panel & the windshield side garnish molding to the hinge pillar.
2. Unsnap the hinge pillar upper trim from the hinge pillar.
3. Remove the lower hinge pillar trim, if needed...that's on another page
Hope this helps...
