Default GM is blowing it

I saw in a mag a few years ago where GM was going to offer the LS7 in a Ragtop...they even showed a picture of a yellow rag with the black bras all over it...Then when push comes to shove GM goes solid coupe and no removable top or ragtop in with the LS7 Z06.... I live in FT. Lauderdale... I only have the top up on my C6 if it rains and I get caught outside.... I personally think the ragtop down is heads and tails the best looking car of the 6th generation....I think GM is blowing it big time by not offering the Z06 LS7 only in a non removable coupe..... If Ferrari, Porche, and the rest of the over seas manufacturers can build that power into a convertable and even the boys over at Dodge can build a Viper why can't GM give us thier best looking, best performing car in a convertable? I went with the LS2 ragtop and had to do the typical CAI, LTH, cam, exauhst, corsa sports and the predator which after I had Paul at Razors Edge tune on his Mustang Dyno and got me high 3's at the rear wheels and then had him add a 100 HP wet shot just to give me that little ump when I really wanted to get that rush when all I should be able to do was walk in and order a car from GM but they don't make it.... Go figure...Sooner or later GM will pull their heads out from thier a**** and offer to the customer what some of us want ..no wonder GM is in trouble.. they have a hot selling car and it has big margins in it and they don't offer it in a ragtop and lose sales while thier stock continues to sink......GM needs more new blood at the top. (Convertable) that is : )

I agree with you burnout and I am a GM dealer. I had my LS2 modded out with about 460 to the rear wheels, I love the Z06 looks so that is why I had my body shop put the Z06 body on it and now the LS2 is making some noise and it looks like something came loose and damaged 3 pistons and cylinders and now that is why I am putting the LS7 in it

I'm sure the DRM combo radiator/oil cooler would work (DRM is a sponsor on the board), but if you ring Mike Norris at Next Level Motorsports @ 407-869-7223 he will certainly know. He just completed such a conversion for my buddy J.P.
