Can anyone point me to someplace I can buy an eliminator that does not require any zip tie? Most eliminators I've found only plug into the harness and require it to be zip tied to the transmission. I know there are some in which you can plug one end into the harness and the other into the transmission, thereby eliminating the need for zip tie. Who sells these? I have a simple resistor in there now, but am looking for a more permanent solution.

SLP Performance Products, Ecklers, Zip, Mid America and probably several others have a CAGS adapter that connects the wiring harness to the solenoid.

I dunno what's the problem with using a zip tie to hold it up out of the way - that's what I did with my install a year-and-a-half ago and it hasn't given any problems.
Take a look at this CAGS eliminator from forum vendor Zip-products. It looks like it might be one solid unit. It's still gonna add a couple inches in length to the wiring harness to the solenoid and it still might be best to zip tie the slack in the harness up out of the way.
