Default Bullets vs PRT Bullets??

I've seen lots of comments on the Bullets and how much they like them. I may have missed the threads, but I've not seen comment on the BB Bullets vs Bullet PRT's. Those of you that have heard both, what are the differences?? Thanks.

First of all, there is no such thing as "Bullet PRTs". The Bullet exhuast is just the section from just in front of the axle to the back. The PRT replaces the "H" pipe with a different one that includes a PRT chamber in it. You buy both of them separtately.

I have had Bullets on two C5's, and my current C6. I decided to try the PRT section just because I'm such a big fan of B&B. The PRT section did quiet it down a little, and changed it to a higher pitch. It reduces the drone, but there still is a little. I decided I liked the deeper rumble better without the PRT section so I took it back off and put the factory "H" pipe back on.

Ok then, I have seen two different types of bullet exhast, one with large cans right near the exhaust tips, the other just pipes, may have some sort of muffling in them, and then they attach to the PRT can???

The B&B exhaust with the big "cans" at the back are not called Bullets. They are B&B's "Route 66" system. They are quieter. If you are interested in those, a friend of mine has a set for sale. I have not talked to him in several weeks, but if interested I can check to see if he still has them.

You may have been looking at the C6 Z06 system w/the "big cans" near the tips.

And Yes, in either case, both or all three (the Rte 66 exhaust 'Jschindler' mentioned) components/exhausts can attach to the PRT system.
