I just had heads and cam installed with a tune but the car didn't run very well or idle smoothly. Come to find out that the tube running from the valley pan to the side of the throttle body was disconnected creating a HUGE vacuumn leak. The car was tuned in this condition. I reatached the hose and 90% of the driveabilty problem is gone but the car doesn't feel as fast. It seems like I need to get this car re-tuned because it is probably running pig-rich. Any thoughts?
I'd have it tuned again, but not by the shop that couldn't figure out that a vacuum line wasn't attached.
I am learning that everybody tunes differently. Tuning should be done once a month, by different people in different conditions. I am serious. Hope you can afford it.

Go to good tuner and get your car set right and you are good to go, no more tunes needed unless you mod your car afterwards.
