Most will accept the sensors in the standard valve stem location, but it would be best to get that confirmed. Most forum sites will clearly state it.Also make sure the sensors go back to the corner of the car where they were originally mounted to avoid those pesky DIC messages!
The sensor is on the inside side of the valve stem,so the tire at the least would need to be deflated and the bead broken loose to get to it.I imagine taking the tire off would be the easiest way to remove it undamaged.
I bought my wheels from Zip Performance, installed at wheel techniques for $100, works perfectly.
I will say (and others I know had this same issue), the sensors do report 0 PSI for a few minutes after they've been swapped to new wheels. 3 of my sensors reset in about 10 seconds (while the car was backing up off the lift), and the final sensor took about 1.2 miles of driving before it reset and read properly.
Just make sure you have the place guarantee that if they break a sensor, they'll buy a new one and replace it... they're not cheap!
