Navigation system
Sometimes it works fine & other times half of the screen doesn't light up. I.E.- "Stored locations" you can see it but doesn't light. Hit "Enter destination" & the top 3 boxes (address) don't light. Also, how does the system update, new houses get added? Also have had occasions that the system misdirects you, I.E.- system will get me all the way to my home & at the last turn it has me turn the wrong way????

You're not trying to use the Nav while the car is moving, are you? Most of the Nav system is inoperable while the car is in motion. Updates are new DVDs that are available annually. If you have an '06 you get 2 free updates, which is a thorn in the side of the folks with '05s since they have to pay for theirs. Finally, there are some anomalies between city address and what the GPS satellite thinks it should be. For example, the number on my house is 2112 according to the Post Office, but the GPS system thinks it should be 2178. If I input 2112, the Nav system will take me to the middle of a nearby park. Go figure.
